Horse riding lessons in Baldivis for all ages & abilities!
Stakehill Equestrian have something for everyone! Learn to ride and handle horses in a safe, fun environment no matter what experience or riding level you are.
We offer group lessons, privates, NDIS lessons, homeschool horse riding sessions, Pony Camp during school holidays and other special events like beach rides and more!
No matter what level you ride at, your first session at Stakehill Equestrian is an initial assessment lesson so we can ensure we match you to the right horse and riding group.

Morning horse riding
from 8am
Our stables are open weekdays from 8am except Fridays. Weekday sessions for our Adult riders, Equine Assisted Learning sessions, Tiny tots and Homeschool families can take advantage of our morning sessions.
Weekdays – CLOSED FOR RIDING FRIDAYS AND SUNDAYS.
Afternoon horse rides
from 3pm
Mondays to Thursday afternoon Catering for Tiny tots, Primary school and High school ages riders right through to Adult riders. We have our 30 min beginner/starter sessions and 50 min group sessions all going on in the afternoons. Weekday riding sessions run into the evening, we have floodlit arena and great lighting around the stables. A great atmosphere in a quality encouraging environment, all riders included and welcomed.
Saturday riding lessons
7.30am - 12pm
Saturdays are very popular, we run our 50 min group sessions and a few Beginners/starter 30 min sessions. From 12pm Saturdays our Horses have their down time and not back to work until Monday.

Level 1 (Beginner)
New or minimal riding experience

Level 2 (Novice)
Riders who are capable of trotting solo off the lunge, steering, stopping, turning solo. Ready to join a small riding group.

Level 3 (Novice/Intermediate)
Riders capably riding in main arena, progressing to Canter, Poles and small jumps.

Level 4 (Intermediate/Capable)
Cantering, jumping, games, handling horse. Progressing along with handling and gearing up own horse.

Level 5 (Capable/Efficient)
Riders who are competently gearing up own horse, ready to progress along into pony club and horse events.
